![]() ![]() In some situations you may want to change the default namespace for new files. This default behaviour is usually acceptable and can be quite helpful when organising your projects, assemblies and namespaces. This name is displayed within the Solution Explorer and is also used as the name for the compiled assembly and as the namespace that is applied to new class files when they are added to the project directly. ![]() ![]() When you create a new project using Visual Studio, you are asked for a name for that project. The decision of which namespace to apply is based upon the structure of the project and a simple setting. When files for classes and some other types are added to a project, Visual Studio automatically adds a namespace definition. ![]()
